Hazel and Zac added some personal touches to their micro wedding amongst the trees at J.C. Slaughter Falls at Mount Coot-tha. To carry their pooches (dressed cutely in tutus, they decorated a cart and filled it with bubble blowing machines. This was pulled along by Hazel’s sweet little sister, also dressed as a ballerina flower girl. Crafty Hazel also made both her own bouquet and Zac’s boutonniere. They chose pale green and purple as their colours, and chose flowers to match on the triangular shaped arbour from Miss Weddings.
Hazel chose to walk down the aisle with both her grandfather and her great-grandfather, which was just adorable. She chose the song, “All of Me” by John Legend. She wore a high low dress. Groom Zac wore a cream coloured suit. The guests all wore colours complementing the purple and light green theme.
To top it off, Hazel’s grandmother baked a cake with a surprise gift inside – a pewter marriage certificate holder!
