Zita and David were looking for a contemporary space for their wedding ceremony and reception, and found this blank canvas in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Previously a smash repair workshop, the industrial past of the building is evident in the painted blockwork walls and polished concrete floors.

The couple chose Lillicreek Florals to transform the space with beauty, colour, and fragrance. The hanging arbour was the backdrop for the ceremony. https://lillicreekflorals.com.au/

As the celebrant, I told the story of David and Zita’s meeting and subsequent romance. We had a few emails back and forth until the tale was just right. https://cherylwedding.com/

Photographer, Julian Beattie captured moments from the ceremony, including the couple’s first kiss as newlyweds. http://julianbeattie.com/

Zita looked absolutely stunning with an elegant bun at the nape of her neck, and a v-neck figure hugging dress. David was dapper in a suit.

Despite the warm day outside, guests were cool in the air conditioning of the venue, and were served appetising canapes after the ceremony.
